PRISM SIGNS LANDMARK AGREEMENT

PRISM Brain Mapping has signed an agreement with the Abu Dhabi International Centre for Organizational Excellence (ADICOE) establishing a working partnership with the overall aim of introducing PRISM Brain Mapping to the United Arab Emirates to help Abu Dhabi become a benchmark for global organisational excellence.

Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, ADICOE has also signed co-operation and strategic partnership agreements with six world-class universities and business schools, including Oxford, Cambridge, London Business School, Singapore Civil Service College and the UK’s National School of Government, to establish an ‘Excellence Alliance’ with a view to designing and providing state-of-the-art leadership and organizational excellence programmes in Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the Gulf Co-operation Council countries at large.

As well as signing the agreement, PRISM Brain Mapping representatives spent a week training delegates from both the Abu Dhabi public and private sectors to become Certified PRISM Practitioners and also delivered the first in a new series of courses on ‘Mental Toughness’.

MENTAL TOUGHNESS

Following our highly successful pilot workshop in Abu Dhabi we are pleased to be able to offer this Mental Toughness One-Day Workshop which is designed to raise awareness of mental toughness in the context of enhancing business performance.

Mental toughness is about having the natural or developed mental advantage that enables you generally to cope better than others with the many demands that are placed on you in your day-to-day life. Specifically, it is about being more consistent, determined, focused, confident, resilient, and in control when under pressure in order to perform at maximum potential.

This one-day workshop will provide delegates with an understanding of their own Mental Toughness competencies and identify key areas for development. The result should be a deeper understanding of their strengths and weaknesses plus the tools to help them to have more resilience in challenging situations.  Delegates will undertake the PRISM Professional questionnaire prior to the workshop. Delegates will then receive their  Mental Toughness Report which assesses 9 key Mental Toughness competencies.  During the course the delegates will work through the findings of their report and complete exercises in order to understand their Mental Toughness levels and identify key areas for development.

• Stress and the Brain
• Assessing Mental Toughness
• Discover Strengths and Weaknesses in 9 Key Areas
• Dealing with Difficult Situations

CHARLIE SAYS ...

I would recommend Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as the default browser for accessing the PRISM Practitioner website. Some older versions of Internet Explorer restrict access to some functions, particularly the new 360 competencies.

When viewing multiple candidate maps - please restrict your selection to 10 candidates as a maximum, as selecting more can result in blank pages. I have the tech guys working on increasing the number of maps that can be selected at one time and will report back.
