Hong Kong

Last November, PRISM took a first tentative step into the Asian marketplace by establishing a partnership with ZenLinks, a Hong Kong based consultancy, with offices in the Universal Trade Center, to introduce the instrument primarily to China, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan and Japan.  Now, six months later, we are returning to Hong Kong to run a second Practitioners Programme and to hold briefings and seminars for the local business community, including the American Chamber of Commerce, the Hong Kong International Coaching Community and several financial organisations.  Considering the growth rates and potential in the region, we believe PRISM has a signficant role to play in both personal and commercial development.  For example, in China alone the number of graduates per year increased from 1.4 million in 2002 to 6.1 million in 2009.  It is forecast that the number of graduate will reach 7.6 million this year.

MENTAL TOUGHNESS REPORT

The PRISM Mental Toughness Report will be launched at the beginning of April.  There is widespread, growing interest in understanding the relationship between behavioural preferences and business success, and research has identified a cluster of nine behavioural strengths, or competencies, that are linked to mental toughness and peak leadership performance.  The PRISM Mental Toughness Inventory measures a candidate's preference for optimism, determination, independence, competitiveness and adaptability.  This report is an exciting advance in the ability to measure the building blocks that are scientifically linked to business success.

ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE REPORT

The new PRISM Organisational Culture Inventory is designed to provide businesses with insights into the ways in which they go about their day-to-day operations and thus enable them to achieve a better understanding of the nature and likely impact of their working culture. This report not only identifies the organisational culture priorities desired by the top management but also shows who the present culture is perceived by the organisation's managers and non managers.  The report, therefore, provides an excellent opportunity for considering what initatives need to be taken to achieve a closer match between the organisation's preferred culture and the preferences and aspirations of the workforce as a whole.  This report will be available from April.
