Although PRISM Brain Mapping has been operating in India for less than a year, it has achieved remarkable success within the business and educational communities resulting in a move to brand new offices in Mumbai.  To celebrate the opening of these new offices, PRISM Director, Colin Wallace spent an action packed ten days delivering seminars to business leaders, academics, HR specialists and the media in Mumbai, Goa and Pune.

PRISM & SANDA EXCELLENCE

PRISM has forged a successful partnership with Sanda Excellence, a Indian experiential learning and development company headed by Ajit Patel, founder and former CEO of the pharmaceutical company, Gold Shield plc.  Ajit Patel won the British Young Entrepreneur Award in 2000. The Mumbai offices are headed up by Hemang Lahreu, Head of Business Development at Sanda Excellence.

ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE BENCHMARKING

By definition a company's culture is what helps define the norm for accepted behaviour within an organisation and is the foundation for the behavioural preferences and strengths that employees are expected to emulate.  Without fully understanding what drives the cultural climate of an organisation, it is very difficult to know who will fit best with that organisational environment.

Work environments vary greatly. They may be flexible or structured, reward creativity or promote the status quo, communicate from the top down or through the grapevine.  They may be results-driven or relationship-driven, supportive of change or not, or any number of other characteristics.

This means that recruiters need to have some means of identifiying and accurately measuring whether or not a candidate will fit in with the organisation's culture, in addition to whether or not the candidate will fit with the behavioural needs of a particular job.  It is equally important for job seekers to determine what type of work environment makes them feel the most comfortable and seek out organisations that fit their natural preferences.

Indeed, research has show that accurate job and organisational culture benchmarking can increase the likelihood of a candidate's success in a job by more than 40%.

THE BIG PERSONALITY TEST

How does your personality shape your life?  Can it dictate whether you are in the right job, make or break your relationship, influence your health and even how long you'll live.  In a two-part BBC programme to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'Child of Our Time', presenter Professor Robert Winston revealed the results of the BBC's online 'Big Personality Test' and demonstrated that your personality really does shape our lives. No surprise there then!

We know from experience that television programmes like these really do raise the profile of personality testing and whilst the 'Big Five' dimensions used in the programme do form part of the PRISM Professional Report, PRISM offers far more depth and breadth than these dimensions alone.  Please do contact us if you would like to understand the correlations in more detail.

Once you have completed the Practitioner training programme you are entitled to FREE customer support, there is no annual licence fee and you buy credits on a pay-as-you-go basis. Your credits are then stored in your online account and it is from here that you manage all of your PRISM data. Credits are used for new inputs only, and all outputs are free of charge.
