PRISM Profiling
PRISM

Welcome

Welcome to 'Brainwave', the newsletter for PRISM Profiling.  This newsletter is designed to be informative, interesting and above all to help you get the most from your PRISM Profiling.

In this edition we focus on the latest enhancements to PRISM Professional and Pro-Select.

Online Questionnaire Format

The Online questionnaire format has changed to enhance completion accuracy.  Previously candidates rated descriptors using a scale of 1-4.  The new format asks the candidate to select 'Which of the following descriptors is MOST like you?', after selection, this descriptor is removed and the candidate is then asked 'Which of the following descriptors is LEAST like you?'.  This selection process continues until all descriptors have been selected.  If candidates are unhappy with their selections they have the opportunity to re-select.

Work Preference Report

The Career Development Analysis now includes a Work Preference report.  This summarises some of the candidate's natural preferences and plots them against segments ranging from 'Avoided Preference' to 'Very Strong Preference'.

Free Benchmarking!

We are pleased to announce that with immediate effect the PRISM Job Inventory and PRISM Job Benchmarking are now completely FREE!  We have made this decision partly to offset the increased cost of the personal profile and also because we are acutely aware of the added benefit that accurate benchmarking now adds to the PRISM Professional and Pro Select reports.  If you have not used PRISM benchmarking before, now is a great time to do so!   ' Creating a Job or Team Benchmark Manually' is available in 'download documents' under General PRISMBenchmarks add real value to the recruitment and assessment process.  For more information please contact us.

Generic System Benchmarks

Generic professional system benchmark profiles are now available as an option at the output stage. This provides a simplistic way to compare a candidate's profile with a wide range of professional benchmarks. Hugely beneficial for raising awareness of a candidate's fit with existing or potential roles.

After selecting a candidate you now have the additional option of CHECK FOR SYSTEM BENCHMARK. Once this selection has been checked, a drop-down box appears showing 26 categories. Once you have selected a category, a second drop-down box becomes available which shows a selection of benchmarks for that category. For example: Under the category 'LAW', there are 8 benchmarks: Barrister, Magistrate, Lawyer (Employment), Lawyer (Family), Solicitor etc  (There is a small delay before this second drop-down becomes available, please be patient.)

Please note these are generic benchmarks and are not intended to cover the unique intricacies of specific roles. The generic benchmark highlights primarily only the key factors that are consistent in the particular occupation. As all organisations have different cultures and working practices please continue to use the PRISM benchmarking process to produce precise company-specific benchmarks.
